Falcons and Ward Hadaway extend official partnership

Newcastle Falcons and Ward Hadaway, one of the UK’s top 100 law firms, have today announced a three-year extension to their official partnership.

Ward Hadaway, a partner with the Falcons since 2015, will be the exclusive legal services provider to the club as well as maintaining their presence on the back of the Falcons’ playing shirts.

The firm will also continue its support of the award-winning Newcastle Rugby Foundation as well as involving their staff in a range of off-field initiatives including big games at St James’ Park.

Ward Hadaway employ more than 450 staff, with over 90 partners, offering a full range of legal services to clients across the private and public sectors as well as bespoke advice to individuals.

They are a major player in the North East and have offices in Newcastle, Manchester and Leeds.

Newcastle Falcons’ executive director Mick Hogan said: “Our relationship with Ward Hadaway is well-established and we are delighted to be able to extend this for a further three years.

“They are an outstanding partner of the club who not only provide us with expert legal advice that we can trust, they support our wider club activity via the Foundations and events such as ‘The Big One’ at St James’ Park, and the recent European finals.

“We look forward to working with such a significant regional organisation to further grow the sport at all levels.”
