On 26 October 2024 the new Worker Protection (Amendment of Equality Act 2010) Act will come into force.
This will introduce a new mandatory duty to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment of workers by other employees and third parties.
To support employers in meeting the new mandatory duty, we have developed a Compliance Toolkit, which provides you with the relevant resources to ensure that you are taking the appropriate reasonable steps for your organisation to minimise the risk of exposure.
The Compliance Toolkit includes the following template documents:
- Risk assessment which you can tailor to your business, sector and the working environment;
- Sexual harassment monitoring form;
- Sexual harassment policy;
- Training slide deck to deliver to line managers;
- Internal communication to the Board;
- Internal communication to all staff;
- External communication to third parties and template contractual clause; and
- Business checklist.
Please fill in your details below to register your interest in receiving the Compliance Toolkit and one of our team will be in touch.
