Following the election there have been a number of announcements which will impact the education sector. We expect there will be many more to come.

Various Bills were set out in the Kings Speech on 17 July 2024 which are relevant to the Education sector, as set out below.

In January 2024 the previous government stated, in a bid to reduce teachers' workload, that schools would no longer be required to use performance-related pay.
