Our Health and Wellbeing Conference returns in 2024 following a successful inaugural year. This year's conference is taking place on Wednesday 2nd October between 8:30am - 1:00pm at Newcastle Building Society

Supporting the health and wellbeing of employees is crucial for every employer, and we are dedicated to helping businesses implement effective strategies. Our upcoming event is designed for senior HR leaders, business leaders, and professionals focused on wellbeing initiatives.

Given the limited availability, we encourage you to register your interest as soon as possible.

At this conference, Ward Hadaway partner Jamie Gamble will lead a panel of experts who will offer valuable insights into how targeted health and wellbeing initiatives can enhance workforce performance and productivity. Additionally, prominent regional employers will share their real-world experiences of implementing these strategies and the positive impacts they’ve observed.

No two organisations are the same and therefore simply deploying an “off the peg” health and wellbeing offer can end up feeling like wearing someone else’s pyjamas and expecting them to fit!

In this session, Claire Metcalfe, People Director at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government will share how adapting the offer to suit the culture, risk profile and objectives of the organisation makes the difference in meeting the needs of the workforce. Claire will share her experiences from both the public and private sector, covering UK Rail, Aviation and the Civil Service.
