Zoom

Join Gillian Burns and Alan Kennedy from Ward Hadaway's expert Business Immigration team who are delighted to host a joint webinar with BDO UK's Laura Burton and Karim Lakehal on Tuesday 10th December, between 10am - 11am.

Our speakers will be discussing key immigration routes and principles that expanding domestic or international businesses wishing to operate in the UK with the benefit of access to the global talent pool really need to know.  And BDO will be sharing their expertise on all things tax when employers are moving staff cross border.

If you and or your business are considering strategies that would enhance your international business presence, and would value insight in to UK immigration and cross border tax compliance, whether you are already established in the UK or not then this is for you.

Skill shortages across all sectors (care, hospitality, manufacturing and engineering, IT and tech to name but a few) in the domestic labour market are well publicised, and a prudent  employer should have a strategy for exploring the international labour market as a possible source of key talent needed to help their business thrive.

UK Immigration rules and tax compliance are difficult concepts to navigate and this webinar is designed to demystify possible immigration routes in to the UK, and touch upon related concepts of right to work and conditional offers, to help attendees understand their possible options when considering international hires or (from a tax perspective) moving staff cross border in to or out of the UK.

You will be able to ask your own questions either in advance via the registration form, or you can use the Q&A feature in Zoom on the day.

Please note that this event is designed to be informative, not advisory and represents our understanding of English law and practice as at the date indicated. We would always recommend that you should seek specific guidance on any particular legal issue.
