Edward specialises in high value, complex financial cases arising from divorce. Edward runs his own cases and assists senior members of staff on their cases providing an analytical perspective given his accountancy background.
Edward has advised on many complex cases including international cases with jurisdictional issues, agricultural cases with complex family trusts and sports personalities with international asset bases.
Edward is keen on using alternate dispute resolution such as arbitration to try and resolve matters without the need for court proceedings. Edward will however litigate when appropriate and in his client’s best interest.
Edward takes pride in assuring client’s throughout the legal process ensuring they understand each step and have a clear path to allow them to move forward with confidence and certainty.
Edward was named Rising Star of the Year at the Yorkshire Law Awards.
Before Edward began his legal career he trained in accountancy, Edward now uses his accountancy knowledge and understanding to carry out forensic examination on cases and simplify complex issues when businesses, trusts and international assets are involved.
