Robin is head of the Real Estate Team at Ward Hadaway. He heads a large team of multi-disciplinary lawyers across our office network who focus on various sectors including commercial development, public sector, health, occupiers and investors, housing, rural and estates, retail.

He is a planning lawyer and advises on contentious and non-contentious planning issues for a broad range of clients including residential and commercial developers, estates, public sector organisations and private individuals.

Experience

As a recognised individual in both Legal 500 and Chambers, Robin is widely recognised as an expert in planning law matters involving both contentious and non-contentious matters. He regularly provides advice on drafting and negotiation of complex s106 Agreements, CIL, interpretation of planning permissions and conditions and associated matters.

Robin also has a particular specialism in public rights of way and village green issues regularly advising on how to protect land from such claims and dealing with stopping up / diversion orders. Robin works across numerous sectors helping clients in the process of obtaining planning permission and seeking to limit issues that may arise on development sites.
