Sara is experienced in advising on all aspects of public procurement law and provides regular advice to contracting authorities and tendering organisations on procurement processes, documents, timescales and challenges. Most notably Sara has advised on various complex and high value procurements including storage and distribution contracts, cleaning, catering and other outsourcing contracts and contracts for major construction works.
Sara advises in relation to:
- a range of procurement routes including open, restricted and competitive procedures as well as advising on the establishment and use of frameworks
- procurement implications associated with contract variations
- drafting of tender documents, evaluation processes, bidder feedback and clarifications throughout the process the different procurement routes available
She also provides client training on procurement law and procedures and takes part in our annual procurement events
Commercial advice
Sara has advised on an extensive range of agreements including those relating to business transfers, joint ventures and other partnership arrangements.
Over the years she has also worked on a number of pathfinder PFI transactions, advising on operational PFI issues and PFI buy-backs.
Sara advises on the use of and/or tailoring of various standard form contracts including contracts associated with frameworks as well as preparing bespoke documentation.
Constitutional Arrangements
Sara advises NHS organisations in relation to their constitutional arrangements as well as advising on company secretarial and governance matters.
